Nissan Sentra Flex Comes to the 2011 Line More EquippedNissan Sentra Flex Comes to the 2011 Line More Equipped

Admired by owners and recognized by the market as an excellent mid-range sedan, the Nissan Sentra Flex arrives in the 2011 lineup with an even better cost-benefit ratio. The model produced in Mexico now has an entry-level version with equipment found in the superior finishing options, such as an on-board computer, an audio system that reads mp3 and with six speakers and cable for connecting an iPod on the console between the front seats. Nominated as one of the best options among midsize sedans in the survey "Qual Compra 2010", Autoesporte magazine's annual buying guide , the Nissan Sentra Flex is recognized by the market as one of the best cost-benefit in the segment. After all, it has a very attractive price compared to direct competitors and comes well equipped as standard, bringing from the entry version, the 2.0, items such as steering with variable electric assistance, trunk with 442 liters of capacity, ABS brakes with electronic control (EBD) and, from now on, with radio CD Player with mp3, RDS function, auxiliary input for MP3 Player, connector cable for iPod® in the center console and six speakers. In addition to these items, the intermediate S and top-of-the-line SL versions feature the differential of the Divide-N-Hide® system, a removable partition hidden inside the cargo compartment that separates the luggage. The owner of the Sentra Flex SL 2011, the most equipped option in the model line, now has an important safety and comfort equipment: the rear auxiliary camera for maneuvers, which is the only one in the medium sedan segment. Installed in the trunk lid, it captures images of the vehicle's rear peripheral region and transmits them to the 4.3" screen located in the center console, the same one that shows the audio system information. With this new feature, the driver visualizes clearly everything that is close to the vehicle, allowing for safer reverse maneuvers, helping to avoid unwanted collisions with objects that would not normally be seen. The Sentra Flex's design maintains the features adopted in the previous model year, which highlight the sedan's inspired design features. At the front, the continuous three-thread grille and a small cutout at the bottom, near the bumper and in line with the Nissan logo, harmonize with the complex surface reflector headlights, transparent lenses and integrated turn signal lights. The angled bumper adds fluidity to the style, as do the pronounced side creases at the height of the fog lights. All versions of the model come with chrome door moldings and cover plate on the trunk lid. COMFORT AND SAFETY Combining balanced suspension set, formed by the McPherson independent system with stabilizer bar at the front and by torsion axle with stabilizer bar at the rear, and excellent interior space, the Mexican sedan is very comfortable and pleasant to drive. The dampers also have a ripple control device , which eliminates vibrations transmitted by depressions or obstacles. With a wheelbase of 2.68 m, the Sentra Flex offers ample space for passengers, especially those in the rear seat who, even with the front seatbacks fully recessed, do not feel cramped. When folded down, the split rear seat allows the accommodation of large objects for transport, offering the midsize sedan the same modularity that exists in the Livina MPV lineup. In addition, the headrests can be folded down to increase the driver's visibility when there are no passengers behind. To guarantee a final product to the strict standards required by Nissan, Sentra is produced in Aguascalientes, in central Mexico, one of the three most efficient factories of the Japanese brand in the world. Much of the production from this unit is destined for the US market. To know more, click at the button below.
